Richland Creek Wilderness Area

I parked at Richland Campground around 6:30 a.m., temp around 16, sunny, 37 when I left at 1:00. This hike led me up Falling Water Creek a bit where I crossed and headed up the ridge to a nice bluff overlooking Richland valley with a great flat ledge with a fine view. I then followed the ridge a ways before dropping down into Pine Hollow. There I encountered many downed trees but found a nice waterfall that was unfortunately also filled with dead trees. The hollow was followed back down to Falling Water and back to the campground. Total trip was 4.1 miles.
