Kings River Falls

Seems there are probably lots of people familiar with the Kings River as it flows to the north...but the upper reaches of this stream start not far from where the Buffalo begins as well. This section includes Kings River Falls. It is a lovely fall that resides in an area protected by the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. There is a short...maybe .5 mile trail that follows the left bank all the way in. In higher water this trail is a bit wet in many places. The water was quite low on this visit but beautiful anyway.
